You can upload the following file types: .wmv, .avi, .mov,
.mp3, and .flv.

If you're uploading video, it should be 320×240
pixels. This is the standard size for podcasting, and is also a good
size for online viewing.

IMPORTANT: If you upload any other size, we make no
guarantees that it will work properly. (Although we have 16:9 aspect ratio capability in development.)

ML can perform various files
conversions for you automatically. We're trying to make this easy! The
best option for online viewing is Flash video, and ML can convert your
.avi or .mov into this format for you.

How It Works

MissingLink makes it easy for you to distribute audio and video from
your event.

This is a per-event package, with an additional charge of
$49 per A/V enabled event per month. This package comes with both new
functionality and additional storage and data tranfer.

Here are the
details:

A new "Audio/Video" section will be added to each of your sessions
and breakouts to which you can upload media. (As with the other
sections, if there is no content the event participants do not see the
    section label.)

Podcasting requires Quicktime
(.mov) files, and ML can convert your .avi file to a Quicktime if you
want to podcast. The uploader will give you the appropriate choices
based on the file type you are uploading.

The Audio/Video section will present two links: one for
online viewing and one for podcasting (if you choose the podcasting
option). Clicking on the podcast link will automatically open iTunes
and begin the download process. (No need to copy and paste a link!)
Clicking on the file name will open the media in pop up window for
    online viewing.

There are different podcast links for
different pieces of your event, giving people flexible choices about
what to listen to or watch:

A "master" podcast which contains all of the media you upload for the entire event.

A per-session podcast which contains all of the media you upload for the session, including any breakouts.

A per-breakout podcast which contains all of the media you upload for the breakout.

Additional storage: An additional 1000 MB (1 GB) of both storage and data transfer are added to your account for each A/V enabled event.

When
you activate A/V on an event: a pro-rated charge (to cover the current
billing cycle – since we bill in advance) is added to your next invoice.

When
you disable A/V on an event: the files are all deleted. You will not be
billed for the package again, but there are no refunds for any unused
time in your current billing cycle.

"A tag is a (relevant) keyword or term associated with or assigned to a piece of information (e.g. a
picture, article, or video clip), thus describing the item and enabling
keyword-based classification of information for the purpose of
retrieval."

This "tag cloud" allows you to see what tags are in use. You can also view tags in a list form.

Click on a tag to find related files. These tags are assigned at the time that files are uploaded to MissingLink. You can used as many or as few as you wish. A best practice is to limit tags to one or two words.

They help MissingLink find images, files and data that relate to certain topics.

Note: The bigger the tag, the more times it has been used.
(more at Wikipedia)
